We all know and appreciate Sonny Digital as one of the most prolific producers in hip-hop. On his 30th birthday, we highlight some of his achievements within and beyond that.
Digital History
Grammy-nominated super producer Sonny Digital started making major waves about a decade ago when he produced YC‘s hit single “Racks” featuring Future, which peaked at no. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Since then, he has yet the lift his foot off the gas, going on to produce hits like “Same Damn Time” by Future, “Birthday Song” by 2 Chainz featuring Kanye West, and “Tuesday” by iLoveMakonnen featuring Drake.
In more recent years, Sonny has produced fan favorites like “Stargazing” by Travis Scott as well as “Face of My City” by Jack Harlow featuring Lil Baby. He has released several of his own projects and singles as well.
Club Digital
Sonny joined popular drop-in audio app Clubhouse in October 2020. Since then, he has easily become one of the most influential users on the app, amassing over 100,000 followers. This is due in part to his legacy as a producer, but also due to the establishment of Club Digital. His club, which boasts over 2,700 members, is all about music, storytelling, and chill vibes.
Best known for his book club and appreciation rooms, which he pioneered on the app, Sonny has discussed, welcomed, or praised the likes of Gucci Mane, Karrine Steffans, Diddy, and Cardo on Clubhouse.
These types of rooms paved the way for others of a similar nature, though few have had as much of an impact as the Atlanta native’s.

This new music Friday, we got a taste of Drake and Justin Bieber, but did you hear that new Sonny Digital? Sonny’s no stranger to exploring his artistry.
This smooth jam, co-penned by Sonny, Lionel Richie, Aspene Taylor, and Joshua Jaramillo, as well as performed and produced by Sonny, reveals yet another dimension of the versatile star.
