Jazmine Sullivan performed a “Tiny Desk (Home) Concert” for NPR where she sang four songs from her new project Heaux Tales. The setlist included “Bodies (Intro),” “The Other Side,” “Lost One,” and H.E.R. collaboration “Girl Like Me.” As well as “Let It Burn,” which appeared on her 2015 album Reality Show.
The Philadelphia singer delivered a powerful set accompanied by her band and background vocalists. The stripped renditions were an excellent pairing for her sultry, smooth vocals. H.E.R. joined them for the final song, “Girl Like Me.”
Sullivan released singles “Girl Like Me,” “Lost One,” and “Pick Up Your Feelings” before the release of Heaux Tales.
