It’s a new week full of new music. This week sees releases from a lot of indie talent from different backgrounds with some major cuts also. Take a listen and tell us who else you’re listening to.
Cashus King & M.Waisome – Thor’s Hammer
Cashsus King drops smooth raps over M.Waisome production with ease. Distributed through Gvngaroo Records, you’re going to want to listen a few times to enjoy the skills of this lyricist.
Ebhoni – X-Ting
Toronto R&B artist, Ebhoni, drops a fun track on “X-Ting.” Produced by DP Beats and Merna, it features Caribbean style and flair and suits her well. This song will appear on her debut EP, which is due out later this year.
Gabrielle – Stop Right Now
Gabrielle’s new song “Stop Right Now” will be featured on her forthcoming album, Do It Again. It’s got a nice upbeat, soulful Pop feeling and finish matched with lyrics that could be interpreted as a less upbeat story. It’s a good quality song that I’d like to hear more of.
Pale Waves – Fall to Pieces
Pale Waves is a four piece band from Manchester. Their Indie Rock/Pop vibes take me back and I’m loving the new single, “Fall to Pieces.” I suggest also listening to “Change” and “Easy.“
Jacob Banks – Parade
Jacob Banks needs to have this licensed. I hear it synced to TV shows, movies, and ads. Parade” is a great song that his fans will enjoy.
Dua Lipa – We’re Good
Dua Lipa is back. She’s been killing it with the Future Nostalgia versions. She just dropped the Moonlight Edition. Sly offers smooth production and I love the hook.
inc mo – Curse
inc mo drops his latest through Gvngaroo Records. Produced by Sam Mandell, his melodies rides the guitar lead and race alongside the percussive elements. I’m loving the solo section near the end. It’s a nice listen to round out the weekend.
