Ant Clemons – Story of My Life
Ant Clemons takes an introspective look on his new song, “Story of My Life.” The Grammy award winner (Best Christian Contemporary Album) explores hardships as well as highs. The message to his parents on the song is definitely a highlight.
AViVA – HOUDINI
Aviva is an Australian singer-songwriter, well-known for her song “GRRRLS.” She’s back with a chilling, exciting release called “Houdini.” Check out the music video for the full effect.
Aviva states, “HOUDINI is a conversation with someone and the two sides of reality. ‘I’m good, how are you?… I’m insane, I’m houdini in chains.’ That lyric, to me, illustrates how often we’ll just gloss over how something really makes us feel, in the pursuit of simplicity– to make it all seem okay, when really we’re suffering. That is different for everybody sometimes it’s external, or internal or self-induced.⛓”
Inhaler – Cheer Up Baby
Inhaler is an Irish rock band originating from Dublin, Ireland. I came across their new song, “Cheer Up Baby,” and I’m enjoying the anthemic Rock vibes.
“It’s always been a cornerstone song for us and our fans are always talking about it. It’s a love letter to our fans and that’s why we wanted to choose it to open up the album,” frontman Eli Hewson told NME about the track.
Boy In Space – Remember Me
Boy In Space is a singer-songwriter and musician from Alingsås, Sweden. His song, “Remember Me” is a new fave. The melodies are pretty and fun to sing along to. I’ll have this one on repeat.
Betta Lemme – Cry
Betta Lemme drops a nice bop called “Cry.” There is excellent work on production from her and SONDR. The track is dynamic and keeps moving. There isn’t a wasted section. The song interpolates Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65.
