This week we see releases from all over the globe including Bree Runway, FKA twigs, IZ*ONE, and more talented artists. We’re hitting Washington, London, South Korea, and beyond. Check out this week’s selection and enjoy your weekend.
Lil Mosey – Holy Water
Bree Runway – ATM (Breemix)
Bree Runway is back with a remix of “ATM” which originally featured the legendary Missy Elliott. This time around she goes it alone a solo mix produced by Klahr, LIOHN, and, Fat Max Gsus.
FKA twigs – Don’t Judge Me ft. Headie One & Fred again..
FKA twigs feels icy on this one. She glides on “Don’t Judge Me.” Headie One has a nice intensity in his delivery and content but does it in a calm way still. They match up well on the track. Fred Again and El Guincho set them up with the right production that gives them space and an eerie canvas to paint on.
IZ*ONE – D-D-Dance
K Pop can’t be stopped! I’m looking forward to the releases for all the groups. This week, IZ*ONE dropped “D-D-Dance.” It makes me want to do just that. This has replay value all over it. They can’t lose with this 진리 (Jinli) (Full8loom), 방건우 (Bang Gunwoo), and 영광의 얼굴들 (Glory Face)- produced song.
Yuno – Somebody
Pink Sweat$ – At My Worst (Remix) ft. Kehlani
Pink Sweats links with Kehlani for a remix of “At My Worst.” It’s sweet and endearing. The light, catchy production and writing from John Hill and Pink Sweat$ is some that will have you singing along with ease.
Meek Mill, Leslie Grace & Boi-1da – Conga
Meek Mill Leslie Grace and Boi-1da remake Gloria Estefan’s Latin hit, “Conga.” This one is sure-fire way to get the party started because of the instant nostalgia and party energy.
The “Conga” project is part of a bigger partnership between the artists and Bacardí rum. The video will be featured in a 30-second ad which will air during Super Bowl pre-programming and throughout February during NBA and NHL sports events.
