This is your weekly delivery of new tunes from around the world. From up-and-coming indie talent to well-known major acts, you’ll be kept up to date on quality tracks that you should be listening to.
Edge of Paradise – False Idols
Edge of Paradise gets us started off with some hardcore Rock. They are an American band that was formed in Los Angeles, California. The band currently consists of Margarita Monet (lead vocalist/pianist), Dave Bates (guitarist), David Ruiz (guitarist), Jimmy Lee (percussionist) and Vanya Kapetanovic (bassist).
Becky Hill & Topic – My Heart Goes (La Di Da)
Some Tech House energy is just what I need after the week I had. Becky Hill and Topic bring it with excellence on “My Heart Goes (La Di Da).” Her vocals are crisp over synths and four on the floor drums. Give her Only Honest On The Weekend album a listen.
BANKS- Skinnydipped
BANKS is smooth on “Skinnydipped.” I love the percussion on this one. It’s simple, but the little sounds in the drum programming are dope. BANKS co-produced it with Shlohmo. It’s the second single off her upcoming fourth album.
Enemy Inside – In My Blood
Enemy Inside is a heavy metal band founded in Aschaffenburg, Germany. Their new song, “Inside My Blood” goes hard. It’s one of those songs that will take you on a ride. It’s got high energy, in your face, and feels like a movie in audio form. Take a listen to their Seven album.
Sigrid – Burning Bridges
Sigrid’s “Burning Bridges” feels undeniable. The message and music are universal and easy to fall in love with.
Sigrid states, “[It’s] about that moment when you know you have to let go,” she explained, “and when you are listening to the song, I’m cool with it being anything you want it to be.”
She continued: “I’ve also found out it’s a great song for running in the woods, or walking to a meeting you’re a bit nervous for, or power walking down the street – it’s just a really sick song and I’m so proud of it.”
